| The early midseason varieties of peonies with a week 3 bloom date rating bloom a week ahead of the common garden peony but with a good representation of hybrids and more of the double flowered forms that gardeners love so much. You get the best of the hybrids and some of the fine garden peonies that begin their bloom this week and will be followed by other lactiflora peonies to continue the flower show until the end of the peony bloom season in the garden. By choosing some early midseason peonies in this group you assure that you have great bloom along with the early blooming iris in your garden to create a spectacular splash of color.
