Peony A. B. Franklin GM  (Franklin 1928) Peony A.B. Franklin is a late blooming peony. This large, double blush peony is fragrant. When the flower first opens it is a bright blush pink and then changes to a white, very lovely flower of beautiful form. Developed by Mr. Franklin in Minnesota. Peony Amalia Olson 2012 Peony of the Year  (Olson 1959) Peony Amalia Olson is not only the 2011 APS Gold Medal winner but a gorgeous white bomb double flower with an exceptionally long bloom period. Peony Buckeye Belle GM/ALM   (Mains 1956) 2011 American Peony Society Peony of the Year and Gold Medal Winner for 2010! Award of Landscape Merit Winner! Peony Buckeye Belle always amazes people with it's deep mahogany, black-red, cup shaped semi-double flowers. It is a wonderful hybrid blooming very early. The cup shape holds a center of gold to accent the dark flower petals. Top notch cut flower and very nice foliage all season long. Peony Charm ALM  (Franklin 1931) Peony Charm is a 2009 Award of Landscape Merit Winner! Very dark mahogany-red Japanese of lustrous satiny sheen with a center of yellow edged red petalodes on upright and vigorous 34" stems. Late season, fragrant. Peony Mahogany ALM   (Glasscock 1937) Peony Mahogany is a wonderful Glasscock Hybrid that has a single, large cup shaped deep mahogany red flowers very early in the peony bloom season. Sweetly fragrant flowers are held on strong 28- 30" stems. The lighter markings on the out side of the petals become more prominent as the flower ages and the bloom becomes bigger. Light green foliage. Sought after by collectors it is noted for it‘s pale green-gold foliage in the spring. Plant in full sun in a well drained soil.
