Double Peony
| The double peony is the one thought of by most gardeners and is a most cherished by gardeners for centuries. The combination of colors and even type of double from the rose form to high centered bombs provide a great variety and selection for your garden. The double flower peony blooms can range from 6 - 10" across and may need support in the garden. This group has been grown for it's cut flower qualities for which it is hardly surpassed by any perennial blooming at that time of year. |

Peony Addie Tischler (Tischler 1987)
Peony Addie Tischler a most lovely peony was selected by visitors to Bob Tischler’s peony fields, seedling #8392 went on to be named for Bob’s wife Addie. Our favorite peony 2 years in a row and written up by other peony fanciers as one of their favorites too.
This mid-late blooming double blush peony has 7" blooms on strong, straight, thick 30" stems. The heavy flower substance adds to the flowers resistance to rain effects. The foliage is a wonderful dark green color. It was my favorite blush peony of all those blooming in our fields in 2009 and 2010, I just love it's balanced beauty.
Plant in full sun. Week 6 bloom date rating.
