Doon't miss the chance to order many of these rare varieties in short supply. Most of these peonies are found only at specialty growers like Hidden Spings Flower Farm and bring something unique to your perennial garden.
Peonies listed in this section change throughout the season and many sell out early in the ordering season. Peonies on the Limited Edition List are truely limited to 5 or less in stock and it is not a gimmick to get you to purchase them. While we have one of the largest offerings of peonies on the web our supplies are not limitless. We encourage you to place an order early to reserve your plants. We update the list as items on the regular pages fall to below 5 plants. Some items that sell out on this list will not be available the next 3 seasons as they shift to our propagation fields this fall and spend the time growing in size before they can be harvested again.

Aztec (Nicholls 1941)
A red Japanese form peony blooms midseason. Its large flower is a bright scarlet rose, staminodes rose with orange-rose, tipped with bright gold. Wind and rain resistant. Plant in full sun.

Break O Day (Murawska 1947)
Break O Day is a dark pink Japanese that has large rounded guard petals and a dark red cushion of staminodes tipped with gold in the center. It's a great cut flower with a good long vase life. The flowers are held on 34" stems and have a midseason bloom. Plant in full sun.

Color Magnet (Hollingsworth 1994)
This single hybrid has bright red-violet cup shaped pink blooms. 34” tall with strong stems that hold the large flowers close to the bush. Dark green foliage. Some of the seedlings from this variety have had extremely attractive variegated foliage. Hybridizers may wish to work this trait into thier breeding program for foliage with season long interest.

Frances Willard (Brand 1907)
This double opens a lovely pink quickly fading to blush and then white with a carmine touch on some of the inner petal edges. In cool seasons this flower may open pink which fades to white as you can see in the photo. Large fragrant blooms on strong floriferous stems with dark green foliage. Midseason.
