Campagna (Saunders 1941)
Campagna is a brilliant single white hybrid with a goblet shaped bloom with green shadows and no pink tones. Remarkable clear opaque white color is a perfect background for the gold center. A triple hybrid. lacti x (off. x mac). This rare Saunders hybrid is very difficult to find and is such a choice plant for those looking for a very pure white in a white themed garden that blooms early in the peony flowering season.

Carefree (Tischler 1976)
Japanese medium red, arrangement type flower that really produces a lot of bloom. Our row of them in the field always attracted people from across the field to see what was blooming in such a mass of color.

Carol (Bockstoce 1955)
Carol has double, rich velvety red blooms with large petals arranged as a rosette, these large flowers need support, great show flower and cut, early midseason bloom on strong stems, 28" - 34" tall. Stems are strong but should be supported for the extra large blooms. When well grown the blooms are like a giant head of cabbage when you cut them for use in a vase. Outstanding color and full form. Plant in full sun in well drained soil.

Carrara (Bigger 1952)
Pure white broad, large guard petals surround the lacy center that opens creamy white and matures white as the flower opens fully. This Japanese type peony is stunning in bloom on 36" stems mid-season. The texture of the center of the flower adds interest for those who wish to create an all white garden.
A favorite of floral designers and one of the most popular for wedding work because there is no pollen to ruin the bride's dress. Plant in full sun.

Chocolate Soldier (Auten 1939)
Semi double black-red hybrid. The flower form may also be more like a Japanese form or nearly a bomb some years or on the same plant. Very rich color. We’re happy it is at the edge of the growing field so visitors don’t crush the other plants as they rush over to see it in bloom. Our plant in our home garden has people walking by detour up the driveway for a closer look.
