Carol  (Bockstoce 1955) Carol has double, rich velvety red blooms with large petals arranged as a rosette, these large flowers need support, great show flower and cut, early midseason bloom on strong stems, 28" - 34" tall. Stems are strong but should be supported for the extra large blooms. Cut them for use in a georgeous arrangement in a vase. Outstanding color and full form. Chestine Gowdy  (Brand 1913) Aahh! What a wonderfully fragrant, late, full double. With a bright rose pink center and guard petals separated by a collar of cream colored petals it creates a unique effect. 26" tall. In a bouquet this is just heavenly for the fragrance. Color Magnet  (Hollingsworth 1994) This single hybrid has bright red-violet cup shaped pink blooms. 34” tall with strong stems that hold the large flowers close to the bush. Dark green foliage. Some of the seedlings from this variety have had extremely attractive variegated foliage. Comanche ALM  (Bigger 1957) 2009 American Peony Society Award of Landscape Merit Winner! These flowers have a brilliant color. Fragrant, vivid magenta guard petals and amber staminodes make this an outstanding Japanese lactiflora.
