Peony Diana Parks. It's love at first sight for most people when they see this big, fragrant, bomb shaped brilliant, glittering carmine red blooms with a hint of orange on this hybrid peony with 38" stems. Splendid texture and color. Very fragrant. I cant imagine being without this wonderful double flowered hybrid. Peony Dunlora A rare historical find, this plant was the namesake of Mr. Peyton's peony enterprise. It was aquired from Bob Tischler who had received it from the Brand Peony Collection. Dunlora has single white flowers held neatly above leaves as though trimmed to 27" tall. It is this neat plant habit that sets it apart from other white single peonies. Peony Festiva Maxima is often substituted with inferior whites with red flares but the true Festiva maxima is a tall massive globular double white with red flares is one of the oldest and still one of the best very fragrant lactiflora whites. Midseason, 36". The healthy , dark green and large foliage is very distinctive. Needs staking to support the large blooms in the garden. As a cut flower it is still very beautiful.
