Lotus Queen  (Murawska 1947) This peony variety looks like a giant quilled chrysanthemum. It's intricate flower parts make it distinct and unusual enough to be considered one of the fine collectable varieties of this form of peonies. Japanese cup shape pure white guards surround fine narrow yellow center petals that are rolled into tubes for half of their length ending in frilly tips.
