Peony Noemie Demay (Calot 1867)
Peony Neomie Demay a rare and incredibly fragrant French variety was first cataloged by Calot in 1867. Saved from extinction in a few gardens and treasured for it's heady fragrance which surpasses many of it's garden mates. Double light pink with broad outer petals of light pink and a center that is composed of finer petals and a few red markings the flower fades to near white as it matures hence it is in the group of colors refered to as blush.
