Miss America is a peony of the highest quality, very large semi-double blush fading to white flowers of good substance on strong 36" stems. Early blooming. APS Gold Medal Winner, and fragrant too! Mons Jules Elie  (Crousse 1888)
Early blooming, double opaque pink with broad smooth guard petals and an incurved center, very large and fragrant blooms are one of the best for cut flowers because of generous bloom. Perhaps there is no other more widely planted pink peony except perhaps Sarah Bernhardt. Needs staking, 40" stems. Plant in full sun.

moonglow.jpg

Moonglow  (Rosefield 1939)
Double white with pale glow of moonlight spreading over the entire flower. Wide petals and beautiful form. Plant very neat in appearance. A flower of exquisite refinement. Late mid-season. Noted for clean healthy foliage. To preserve the yellow of the flower it should be cut just as the first petals are opening and enjoyed indoors in a vase. If left on the plant the outer parts of the yellow petals will turn white although a distinct yellow glow will remain. Plant in full sun.
