Scarlet O Hara ALM (Falk-Glasscock 1956)

Double with dark brilliant red flowers with buds that resemble a rose. Excellent cut flower is a vigorous grower. Late midseason. The spring foliage is a beautiful bronze and this foliage color is repeated in the fall. Smouthi (Smouth 1845)
Fern leaf peony hybrid, Smouthi is fragrant! Bright crimson red single that fades to a bright pink before the petals fall. Very early blooming on plants with fine cut-leaf foliage that turns an attractive yellow in the fall. 24tall. One of the oldest recorded hybrids it has been in cultivation for over 160 years! It's parents are the fernleaf peony and P. lactiflora. Plant in full sun in a well drained soil. Excellent strong plant habit.
