Sam Donaldson  (Brand 1943)
Very rich dark red globe shaped. It's too bad this deep red is not more widely distributed. Understandable though when even we have limited space to grow all the varieties that we would like to grow. Plant in full sun.

Incredible vigor and flower production on this very large double dark rose pink flower which is fragrant with strong stems and good foliage. They are great for garden and cut flowers. Mid-very late with many side buds. Number one choice for gardeners in Europe and the U.S. 38" stems should be staked because of the many blooms. A mature plant can be over 4 feet wide so give it room to grow. Plant in full sun.
