Peony Victoire de la Marne Sold out  (Dessert 1915) Peony Victoire de la Marne Much preferred in Europe by florists this floriferous double purple red has very large flowers with good stems and foliage. When I first saw this I fell in love with it and others have appreciated it too as it often ends up on order lists so that we try to keep enough on hand to divide every few years. Peony Virginia Mary   (Pfeiffer 1932) Peony Virginia Mary Early, double deep pink flowers, excellent for cutting garden with many blooms open at one time. The real value of this variety is that it provides a nice big double pink earlier than other varieties and makes a big garden impact. Developed by a Minnesota nursery and named for their daughter. Peony William Pickett   (Tischler 1965) Peony William Pickett has a creamy, white double flower. The flower form is very compact with tightly placed petals. SOLD OUT  (Richardson 1904) Peony Walter Faxon As a cut flower there is no finer true pink, rich and dark with a sweet mild fragrance, medium large blooms are produced in abundance midseason. The color will lighten considerably as the flower matures when left on the plant, especially in strong sunlight. The color has been described as a vivid pink of a luminous intensity. Delightfully fragrant it is one of my favorite pink peony doubles.
