Peony Victoire de la Marne Sold out (Dessert 1915)
Peony Victoire de la Marne Much preferred in Europe by florists this floriferous double purple red has very large flowers with good stems and foliage. When I first saw this I fell in love with it and others have appreciated it too as it often ends up on order lists so that we try to keep enough on hand to divide every few years. We have only a moderate supply this season.

Peony Westerner GM (Bigger 1942)
Peony Westerner This is likely our very largest yet graceful Imperial form variety of peony. Extremely large broad pink petals surround a center of bright gold on this APS Gold Medal winning Japanese form peony. Fantastic symetrical flower shape above 36 inch stems. People remember it from the fields and have to add one to their gardens. Plant in full sun. Absolutely beautiful in a simple Japanese Style flower arrangement or left on the plant to create that "oh my goodness look at the size of that flower" exclamation.

Peony Walter Faxon NEW FOR 2013! SOLD OUT (Richardson 1904)
Peony Walter Faxon As a cut flower there is no finer true pink, rich and dark with a sweet mild fragrance, medium large blooms are produced in abundance midseason. The color will lighten considerably as the flower matures when left on the plant, especially in strong sunlight. The color has been described as a vivid pink of a luminous intensity. Delightfully fragrant it is one of my favorite pink peony doubles. Its moderate height of about 32 tall is wonderful to mix with tall beaded iris that are in bloom at the same time creating an artists garden worthy of painting.
