Peony Nosegay is a second generation cross between the yellow Paeonia mlokosewitschii and the fern leaf peony it is perhaps one of the most charming of the very early blooming hybrids. It opens with a suffusion of “morning dawn colors” of pink and pale amber eventually fading to a creamy white as the petals mature. The leaves are attractively narrowed from its fern leaf parent. The red pistils and red lower stamens stems in the center of the flower add interest. Altogether charming. Week 3-4 bloom date rating.
