Shipping Rates

Shipping rates have increased dramatically and we have decided to stay with our most successful method until the next postal rate changes are in effect in May: USPS Priority Mail, which gets your roots to you in 3-4 days. You can even track your shipment online, just like we can, to see where it is and when it is received. For the lower 48 states, the basic charge is $10.00 per order based on shipping date, to dig, divide, label, pack and box your order and $1.25 per root postage regardless of the number of roots ordered for that particular shipping date. We believe if you compare these rates for Priority Shipping with other nurseries for the same service you will find it a real value saving you more than 50%. Remember that the cost for each root after the first is only an additional $1.25 for that particular shipping date so take advantage of this savings.

Split Order Shipping Charge When you order wisteria, peonies and daylilies/iris you must include a separate shipping charge as they are shipped at different times of the year based on the best time to establish the plants in your garden. Simply add the Split shipping charge to your order so that you receive your plants on two separate shipping dates. You may have all items shipped in the fall with your bare root peonies to avoid this additional expense if you choose, although we do not recommend that you do so. Please NoteWe do not have international shipping at this time. We do not ship Wisteria Blue Moon to those States that require bare rooting of the plants. PLEASE NOTE THAT ORDERS WITH A SPILT SHIPPING DATE SHOULD BE SENT IN SEPARATELY OR BE SURE TO ADD THE SPLIT SHIPPING FEE TO YOUR ORDER AS THEY WILL EACH REQUIRE A BASE PACKING CHARGE. There are three shipping groups as follows and each should be submitted as separate orders unless you wish them all shipped in September. Wisteria ship in April as unpotted dormant plants. Daylilies and Iris orders can be combined and ship in August. Fresh Dug Bare Root Peonies ship in Mid-September. SPLIT ORDERS FOR ITEMS THAT SHIP ON DIFFERENT DATES SUCH AS; WISTERIA, PEONIES AND DAYLILIES/IRIS SHOULD BE ENTERED SEPARATELY BECAUSE EACH WILL REQUIRE A BASE SHIPPING CHARGE. IF YOU WISH WE CAN SHIP ALL ITEMS IN SEPTEMBER AND THEN YOU CAN AVOID THE ADDITIONAL BASE CHARGE. HOWEVER, WE THINK IT BEST TO SPLIT THE ORDERS BUT THE DECISSION IS THE CUSTOMERS.
