Peony Addie Tischler (Tischler 1987)
Peony Addie Tischler is a lovely peony was selected by visitors to Bob Tischler’s peony fields that was named for Bob’s wife Addie. Our favorite blush peony for several years in a row and written up by other peony fanciers as one of their favorites too.
This double blush peony has 7" blooms on strong, straight, thick 30" stems. The heavy flower substance adds to the flowers resistance to rain effects. The foliage is a wonderful dark green color. I just love it's balanced beauty.

Peony Boule de Neige (Calot 1867)
Peony Boule de Neige - This antique and very rare French variety was introduced by Calot in 1867 and survives today due to it’s prolific bloom production. It's blooms are nearly as large as those of Festiva maxima with which it blooms nearly at the same time. However, while it has the same prominent red markings in the center of the flower the flowers are also accented by a golden glow from the stamens at the center of the blooms. For the authentic restoration of historic gardens this is a perfectly lovely variety to choose. Plant in full sun. Week 5 bloom date rating.
