Prairie Moon SOLD OUT  (Fay 1959)
Large soft creamy yellow blooms make this hybrid peony much sought after. Semi-double early on 32" stems. Some claim it is one of the most beautiful of the hybrid peonies. Plant has extra strong stems of medium height. The foliage is bright glossy green and holds this color until frost. The flower can be a full double some years and rather single when first planted so let it settle in for two years before judging it’s value. It is suitable as a cut flower also.

Roy Pehrson's Best Yellow SOLD OUT  (Pehrson 1982)
Single yellow hybrid, 30", fertile Quad hybrid x MoonriseF2. This vigorous grower while not a bright yellow like the new Itoh Hybrid intersectionals it does have the distinct advantage of being a good seed producer allowing one to create something new in the peony world. It has many good attributes among them good vigor and generous bloom and good foliage throughout the season. Plant in full sun in a well drained soil.

Yellow Crown SOLD OUT  (Itoh 1974)
Brilliant full double yellow flowers are held above the exotic tree peony-like pointed foliage of this intersectional Itoh hybrid. One parent was a garden peony and the other was a yellow tree peony that created this sensational peony that is fragrant too as a bonus. The stems can look like a tree peony but the plants die to the ground every winter and produce a nice healthy blooming plant the next season from buds below the ground.
